Mile: 1107.4 - 1121.2
It's wet and I'm tired and don't feel up to photos this morning. The trail isn't bad but it isn't until a few miles before town that I perk up a bit. The humidity has been a huge struggle for me, and has been making sleep tough to get. Town in sight and a good audiobook at least make the morning better.
The toe of Boiling Springs is small with a few amenities. I get lunch with Rest Stop and hang out at the AT office on their lovely wooden porch bench before heading 0.4 miles to the Allenberry Resort. It is 100% not what I expected but more on that later.
