Somehow I skipped this day the first time around. I'll keep it brief because it feels like ages ago.
We woke up on the road, packed up and prayed for a ride. Maybe a mile later we found some houses and RV campers. Nightcrawler had more guts than me and stated talking to the only person we saw. They ended up coming us breakfast and eventually giving us rides the rest of the way into Silverton on their atv's. 2 families who went out of their way and were ridiculously kind to us.
We wandered around Silverton playing tourist and enjoying the lack of snow. Tomorrow it's back to the trail.
